Becoming a part of the MAKE│NZ Community

MAKE│NZ has, since its inception on August 1, 2022, delivered a range of services to those that have joined its Community of Manufacturing Leaders, free of charge.

We were able to do this on the basis of financial reserves held by the NZMEA, and the generous support from the Canterbury Manufacturers’ Trust [CMT]. While the CMT has assured us it will continue to support the work of MAKE│NZ at some level, relying on a single source of income is a risky and unstable choice.

We’ve decided to make a change in order to keep the community strong, and we ask that those who wish to continue to access all MAKE│NZ’s physical events for free of charge make annual payments as follows:

• Companies up to 35 employees in total: $350 + GST
• Companies between 36 and 64 employees in total: $650 + GST
• Companies above 65 employees in total: $950 +GST

Paid-up membership will allow all owners and employees of member companies to take advantage of the services offered by MAKE│NZ at the appropriate level.

Alternatively, those wishing to remain part of the MAKE│NZ Community without paying an annual membership fee will be charged for attending our in person events on a case by case instance. Access to Fireside Chat events will be charged at $65 +GST per person per event, and all other physical events at $45 + GST per person per event.
